Small, powerful and sexy
by Jan Rudzki (jr778)I picked this case for my first mini-itx build, and I definitely made the right choice. This case is attractive, compact and wastes very little space while still being very easy to work in. The vertical GPU mounting system allows for a beefy card, and I also easily fit in my NH-L12S LOW PROFILE CPU COOLER - 120MM to cool my CPU. Housing a full size ATX power supply is also nice for higher end systems since a lot of high Watt SFF PSUs end up more pricey. This let me create a compact and adequately cooled gaming system that packed way more punch than the average full tower. When building I found two oddities and one minor downside to this case:Oddity one - there is a large opening just above the expansion card slots. I don't know if this is for air flow or for some rare type of expansion card - it just seemed odd.Oddity two - the IO on the back ends up being upside down. This is in no way a DOWNside but it made me confused for a good 10 min during the build. The only downside I found - if you want to use a 3.5 inch HDD you must forgo one of the top 120mmx25mm fans (purchased separately). This isn't a BIG deal since the other 120mmx25mm on the top and the 120mmx15mm on the bottom provide adequate cooling, but it was a shame to have to shelf one of the fans I bought for the build.Nonetheless, this case was easy to build in, came with dust filters, looks great and let me build a system that didn't sacrifice any of thermals, noise, performance and size.
