The black Lian Li O11 Dynamic Midi Tower is an ultra premium Midi-Tower that blends brushed aluminium with tempered glass elements. In comparison to its twin in the series, this variant offers a particular focus on cooling - thanks to the deft hand of modding guru Roman "der8auer" Hartung. What remains is the wide dual-chamber design of an ATX case, providing plenty of space for advanced gaming hardware, along with superb cable management and the potential for extensive air- or custom water cooling.
The Lian Li O11 Dynamic Midi Tower manages to pair 8 mm thick steel with a tinted tempered glass side panel. However Lian Li takes this one step further and succeeds in kitting out the left chamber of the ATX case with a tempered glass front. The right part of the front consists of brushed aluminium and the front panel also hosts a USB 3.1 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports as well as the two obligatory audio jacks.
The Lian Li O11 Dynamic Midi Tower can fit an E-ATX motherboard in the left chamber, a graphics card up to 420 mm in length as well as a CPU cooler that is up to 155 mm in height. When it comes to the installation of AiO- or custom water cooling, the case offers the possibility of installing up to three 360 mm radiators at the same time: On in the top, one at the bottom and one next to the motherboard. To that end the motherboard tray has been angled to the right in comparison to earlier designs. Air inlets are located on the front right hand side of the case. These ensure that heat produced by high-end components is dissipated efficiently and effectively.
Naturally the radiator slots can can also be kitted out with fans, each of which are capable of holding up to three 120 mm fans respectively. Several partly rubberised cable guides also come situated near where the motherboard would be in order to ensure neat and tidy cable management. The right hand chamber hosts hardware that produces little heat and therefore requires little additional cooling.
The Lian Li O11 Dynamic Midi Tower standards slightly elevated on steel feet with rubberised standoffs to enable cool air to push its way through the bottom of the case which is equipped with dust filters. The chimney principle causes the warm air to rise upwards, whereupon it escapes through the cover which is also equipped with a dust filter. Two additional dust filters cover both perforated grids in the right side section. The elegant Lian Li O11 Dynamic Midi Tower is not merely a feast for the eyes that is easily capable of housing a great deal of gaming hardware, it is also especially suited for PC enthusiasts that want to create custom loops for cooling their hardware.
In terms of data storage devices, the case comes with an HDD cage which allows two 3,5" HDDs to be installed. Both slots can be reached from the rear of the case, and they are concealed behind a perforated panel. Two 2,5" SSDs can be mounted on the back of the motherboard tray. There are two additional 2,5" brackets which are screwed to the bottom of the right side panel. In total, two 3,5"- and four 2,5" drives can be installed. The HDD cage can also be removed to make space for a second power supply which can also be installed vertically.
Note: If you plan to vertically mount a graphics card in the Lian Li O11 Dynamic Midi Tower, an optional expansion kit is available from Lian Li (CM-016-LL). It contains a customised slot bracket as well as a premium riser cable.

Great looking and sturdy (and very heavy) case to show off your PC's guts. Plenty of radiator placement options. Just make sure your GPU's water-block will fit as I have to have mine vertically due to its massive width.
Recently ordered one of these from OCUK, it arrived quickly as usual. The case itself is excellent, like most here I am an enthusiast and swap a lot of hardware often. This case is a keeper, it's so well thought out in design that it's ALMOST perfect. It looks amazing, esp when filled with RGB. It has great cooling options, almost everything is well thought through from a build point of view. The only negative is the SSD mounts on the rear bar, they are too close to the bar itself, which makes plugging in sata power cables awkward. Apart from that tho, I can't think of anything else bad to say about it, it's awesome. I've have cases in the past that cost nearly twice as much as this, and they weren't anywhere near as good.Great job Lian Li!
