Best keyboard I've owned
by Lan DempseyI've had many keyboards over the years, mostly cheap ones but not all, my previous mechanical was a cheap jobbie at around 40 and it was OK but compared to this it felt really cheap. This might have worked out around 120 once I added keycaps and switches, but it is by a long way the best keyboard I have owned, the body is sturdy and has a nice finish, the effects for the lighting are great and the basic software allows you to customise at a per key level and has good presets available also.My main reason for choosing this keyboard was that it is basically fixable without having to tear it down, very simple to replace switches and you customise the switch layout to suit your preference and when compared to most good quality mechanical keyboards it is the same price but here you can choose exactly what you want not having to settle for what they specify I found particularly with tenkeyless layouts that I couldn't often find the combination I wanted in the ISO format, I chose brown switches because I like the tactile feel but with the reduced noise compared to the blues which is what was in my previous keyboard, it is really nice to see just how many different switches are available.
