As the name suggests, the Thermal Grizzly Carbonaut is made of a carbon-based polymer that has been downsized to nanoparticles. This fine structure ensures that the Thermal Grizzly Carbonaut compared to other carbon-based thermal pads has a significantly higher thermal conductivity of up to fabulous 62.5 W / (m · K). And that's just one of the many benefits of these thermal pads.
When it comes to durability, the Thermal Grizzly Carbonaut leaves all other heat-conducting solutions behind. The material is subject to virtually no decomposition processes. On the one hand, this ensures high resistance to thermal conductivity and, at the same time, virtually unlimited service life, while thermal compound has to be replaced regularly. Since the thermal pad does not stick, it is even reusable !
At the same time, the flexible carbon fiber structure ensures excellent thermal conductivity, which can certainly keep up with thermal compounds from the mid-range performance segment. Nevertheless, the Thermal Grizzly Carbonaut thermal pads are designed for durability rather than extreme overclocking. Also important is the contact pressure: the firmer the contact between the water cooling block for graphics cards or CPU cooler, the better the conductivity. Thanks to the elasticity of the Thermal Grizzly Carbonauts , the heat-conducting pad can be pressed very easily and thus even the smallest component differences can be compensated.
The Thermal Grizzly Carbonaut is available in various sizes - here 32 × 32 mm. The size is suitable for Intel CPUs for Socket 115x.
Attention! Please note the warnings of the manufacturer before use! The Carbonaut is electrically conductive, so it should not come into contact with MOSFETs or voltage transformers.
