Power Supply with 80 PLUS Gold Efficiency and Powerful 52A Single Rail

The Seasonic Prime GX-650 is a high-performance power supply capable of 650 Watts total output, meaning it is more than capable of powering even high-end gaming PCs. The powerful 12 Volt rail delivers a full 52A and the unit itself is of course 80 PLUS Gold certified. Seasonic only uses the highest quality electronic components, and the majority of internal connections are wireless in design.

The completely modular, individually pluggable cables ensure a tidy interior and optimised airflow. The Seasonic Prime GX 650W offers, in addition to a 24-Pin- and a 4+4-Pin cable, four 6+2-Pin PCIe connectors and ten SATA- with three 4-Pin Molex connectors. This range of connectivity options means that users are free to create the exact kind of high-performance system they desire. Visually the black power supply is also impressive, with its black-silver grill blending in perfectly with almost any case.

Adjustable Fan Controller with Semi-Passive Mode

The built-in 135 mm fan has a smooth-running fluid dynamic bearing, which ensures quiet operation and an impressively long service life. The hybrid switch on the rear of the power supply also allows switching between automatic fan control with and without semi-passive mode. This is particularly valuable addition when it comes to the overall noise produced by the unit while keeping in mind the degree of cooling required and how much power the system is pulling from the power supply at any given time.

It almost goes without mentioning that the Prime PX-series of power supplies all have the requisite protective mechanisms that modern high-end models ought to offer. The unit's load regulation maintains an extremely low tolerance of just 0.5%. In addition, Seasonic offers a full twelve-year manufacturer's warranty, something which shows that they stand behind the quality and reliability of their hardware.
