The Rode VideoMic II: professional directional microphone
The Rode VideoMic II can be mounted directly to a video camera to deliver high-quality sound recordings with the image. Thanks to the supercardioid polar pattern, you can make professional videos without compromise. Thanks to the innovative HELIX Isomount swing mount including hot shoe adapter, mounting on cameras is particularly easy and the sound recordings in broadcast quality are possible without disturbing noises caused by bumps or unplanned movements.

Get great shots with no effort
The Rode VideoMic II works very simply. Point to where to record, done. With the help of the directional characteristic with a reception angle of around 45 degrees, it also delivers rich and full sounds that are suitable for many recording scenarios. It reduces background noise so nothing disturbs your recordings.

Connect and get started
It is connected via a 3.5 mm jack plug. Batteries are not necessary. In addition to mounting directly on the camera, the compact microphone can also be mounted on tonearms or tripods thanks to the integrated 3/8 inch thread . The all-metal housing made of aluminum with a scratch-resistant ceramic coating makes the Rode VideoMic II particularly robust and, with the included pop or windscreen, it is also suitable for outdoor recordings.
