The PHANTEKS Glacier Cooler Kit for the ASUS ROG Dominus Extreme in Detail

The Glacier cooling kit for the ASUS ROG Dominus Extreme is exclusively for LGA 3647 Narrow-P sockets. Specially designed for this socket, it covers the whole IHS of this large CPU type, thus guaranteeing optimal thermal dissipation with high-end processors. It consists of a nickel-plated copper heat sink with a transparent acrylic glass cover. The fine fins in the heat sink help maximise the total surface area, making heat transfer between the base plate and the coolant flowing over it as effective as possible.

As a visual highlight, the integrated digitally addressable RGB-LED lighting marks out the cooler and the coolant flowing through it from the competition. The lighting is connected via a 3-pin RGB connector (5VDG) to hook it up to a compatible motherboard, this can be controlled and synchronised via the motherboard manufacturer's RGB software.

The two G1/4" thread ports enable integration into the cooling loop. The universal thread sizes ensure compatibility with all common soft- and hard-tubing connectors. The seals consist of Viton plastic, a material that is usually found in the automotive and aerospace industries thanks to its exceptional resistance to liquids and high temperatures. The pre-installed mounting mechanism makes installation a breeze, and the requisite thermal paste comes included.

An additional water block covers the whole VRM of the ASUS ROG Dominus Extreme motherboard, this is located over the RAM module sockets. Manufactured from the same materials as the CPU water block and using the same design, the VRM water block makes for the ideal addiition to the CPU cooler. This combination is quality materials and components makes the cooler kit the perfect choice for enthusiasts that want the last word in performance when it comes to getting the most from their high-end PC.
