With the Kailh switches, Glorius has developed interchangeable key switches for its GMMK (Glorius Modular Mechanical Keyboard). There they are particularly easy to use, but they can of course be used on other keyboards or DIY projects.
The Kailh switches are compatible with SMD LEDs and can be illuminated through the transparent housing. Through the MX (+) port, the switches can also be used in keyboards equipped with Cherry MX switches. To ensure the highest possible compatibility, Cherry MX Keycaps are also compatible. With a lifetime of 70 million attacks, the Kailh switches are extremely durable.
The box switches from Kailh have a box that surrounds the cross, on which the key caps are attached. This ensures that the Keycaps less wobble than conventional mechanical key switches.
Kailh Box Brown switches give the user a mix of a pure gaming keyboard and an ideal typing keyboard. When pressing the keys you have to overcome a slight resistance, which noticeably signals the triggering of the contact. Since you can feel the two very close together switching points very well, not only writes noticeably faster, but can also trigger multiple clicks with very little stroke behind the other.
